Jonadab is a Biblical name. Jonadab was the son of Rechab. He was the founder of an Arabian tribe of the Recabites. He is also is also called Jehonadab in the Bible. He was a companion of Jehu (2 Kings 10:15-23), and honored by his
descendents several generations later, who obeyed his command and refused to
drink wine offered to them by Jeremiah (Jeremiah 35).
